Job title: Residential Children Support Worker Location: Bimringham, Dudley Start Date: As Soon As Possible Working Hours: Full Time Contract Type: Temporary MUST BE A DRIVER WITH OWN CAR About the Role: As a Children\’s Residential Support Worker, you\’ll play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children and young people who may have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect. You\’ll be part of a dedicated team committed to helping them heal, grow, and reach their full potential. Role: Providing emotional and practical support to children and young people Helping to create a warm, safe, and homely environment Supporting daily routines such as education, meals, hobbies, and bedtime Managing challenging behaviours with empathy and consistency Promoting independence, confidence, and life skills Keeping accurate records and working as part of a professional care team Experience: A genuine passion for working with children and young people Patience, resilience, and a strong sense of empathy Excellent communication and teamwork skills 5 years of experience in children residential care setting is essential Must be a driver is own car QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare OR NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care #BIRJP
