Qualified Assessor – Health and Social Care Location: Cardiff (Hybrid) Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £25,200 – £26,780 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 16:30 Empowering the next generation of care professionals We\’re working with a respected, employee-owned training provider that\’s passionate about helping individuals and businesses thrive. The Role As a Qualified Assessor, you\’ll support learners through their Health and Social Care apprenticeships, delivering structured guidance and workplace assessments. You\’ll play a key role in shaping learner journeys, ensuring they gain the skills and confidence to succeed in the sector. Key Responsibilities Deliver tailored support and assessments to learners across South Wales Create and maintain Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) Evaluate workplace evidence against qualification standards Maintain accurate learner records and ensure audit compliance Support learners with additional training needs and in-house sessions Track learner progress and contribute to performance targets About You You\’ll be an experienced assessor with a background in Health and Social Care, confident in delivering apprenticeship programmes and engaging with learners in a workplace setting. Essential Criteria Recognised assessing qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent) Occupational experience in Health and Social Care Experience supporting apprenticeships Full driving licence and access to a vehicle Willingness to undergo DBS and EWC registration (costs covered) Welsh language skills are desirable Why Join?
