We are recruiting an experienced and passionate Deputy Manager to help launch a brand-new children's residential home in Deeside. This is a unique leadership role where you will work closely with the Registered Manager to set up and run the service, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and team performance.

You will be supporting young people with complex needs, including Autism and Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), within a trauma-informed, child-centred environment.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Supporting the Registered Manager in line with RISCA and safeguarding standards
  • Managing staff supervision, mentoring, and development
  • Overseeing care planning, behaviour support, and risk management
  • Promoting a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
  • Driving continuous improvement and service development

What We Are Looking For

  • Level 4 or 5 Health and Social Care – Children & Young People
  • Registered with Social Care Wales and on the DBS Update Service (Preferred)
  • At least 2 years' experience in a children's residential home
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory standards
  • Experience supporting children with Autism and EBD
  • Full UK driving licence (manual)
