Support Worker - Young People (16-25)
Location: Leicester
Pay Rate: £12.95 per hour
Sleep-in Rate: £50 per shift

About the Role
We are currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Support Workers to support young people aged 16-25 in the Leicester area. This role involves supporting young people to develop independence, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes within a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support in line with individual support plans
- Support young people with daily living skills and independence
- Build positive relationships and offer emotional support
- Assist with education, employment, and life skills development
- Support with cooking, budgeting, and household tasks
- Administer or support with medication (where trained)
- Maintain accurate records and report safeguarding concerns
- Work in line with safeguarding and organisational policies
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and can demonstrate the following:
- A caring, patient, and empathetic approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Candidates with the following will be highly desirable:
- Experience working with young people aged 16-25
- A qualification in Health & Social Care (e.g. NVQ Level 2 or 3)
- Training in Safeguarding Children (Level 2 or 3)
However, full training will be provided for the right candidates.
