Brook Street are excited to be offering an opportunity for a Learner Support Coordinator to join our client, an "Investor in People" platinum award winning organisation.

As a Learner Support Coordinator within the JGW+ program, your responsibility will be to conduct learner progress reviews, ensuring the continuous development and success of the learners. You will play an important role in recognising areas of improvement, providing guidance and offering support to achieve learners' ILP.

The Role:
  • Regularly check how JGW+ learners are doing, looking at their progress, successes, and any problems they face in reaching their goals.
  • Give learners one-on-one support based on their progress to help them stay on track in the programme.
  • Work with learners to set achievable goals and create action plans. Keep track of their progress and adjust plans if needed.
  • Communicate clearly and work closely with the JGW+ team and other relevant people to provide joined-up support for learners.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of each learner's progress using digital tools and systems.
  • Give helpful feedback to learners, guiding them through challenges and helping them grow their skills and job readiness.
  • Work with others inside and outside the organisation to arrange extra support, workshops, or training that meet learners' needs.
  • Check how well learner support is working and suggest changes to improve the programme's overall success.
  • Work alongside experienced Learner Coaches and programme staff to help learners grow and move forward.
  • Help the team understand each learner's needs and adjust their learning and review plans accordingly.
  • Guide learners in exploring education and career options.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that builds young people's confidence and independence.
  • Complete any admin tasks related to the role accurately, on time, and following the rules.
Requirements:
  • Skills: Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support learners effectively.
  • Travel: Ability to travel to learner's locations.
