Support Worker (Brain Injury Support) Location: Keynsham, Bristol Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour Hours: Saturday & Sunday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, with the potential for additional evening shifts during the week Make a Genuine Difference Brook Street Social Care is recruiting a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to provide one-to-one support for a male adult living in the Keynsham area of Bristol. This is a rewarding opportunity to support an individual with a brain injury to maximise their independence, access their local community, pursue personal interests, and achieve their goals. We are seeking someone who can build a positive, professional relationship and provide consistent, person-centred support. The Role You will support the individual both at home and within the community, helping to promote independence, wellbeing, and social inclusion. Duties may include accompanying him to appointments, supporting community activities, encouraging engagement in hobbies and interests, and providing practical and emotional support as required. Current hours available: Saturday: 9:00am to 5:00pm Sunday: 9:00am to 5:00pm Potential for 2-3 evening shifts per week as the support package develops About You We are looking for a confident and reliable individual who: Is a driver with a full UK driving licence Has previous experience supporting individuals who have sustained a brain injury Is patient, resilient, and adaptable Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills Can work independently and use their initiative Is passionate about delivering person-centred support Is committed to promoting independence, dignity, and choice Essential Requirements Full UK driving licence Access to a vehicle Previous Support Worker, Care Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, or similar experience Experience supporting individuals with brain injuries, neurological conditions, or complex needs Strong understanding of person-centred support What We Offer £13.75 per hour Consistent weekend hours Opportunity for additional hours as the support package grows Ongoing support from an experienced team A rewarding role where you can make a meaningful impact on someone's life Apply Today If you have the experience, compassion, and commitment to support a male adult living with a brain injury, we'd love to hear from you.
