About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) to lead, motivate, and develop a team of Assessors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality training across all learning programs. The primary goal is to ensure that learners receive top-quality education and assessment in the Health and Social Care sector, particularly through apprenticeship programs focused on Children and Young People.

Your Impact
As the Internal Quality Assurer, you will:
- Lead and develop a team of Assessors, ensuring a positive learning experience for all learners and the achievement of KPIs.
- Enhance the quality of delivery across all learning programs, focusing on continuous improvement.
- Manage sampling and verification activities to support the progression and success of learners.
- Ensure all IQA activities meet the needs of learners and exceed the requirements of Awarding Organisations, Welsh Government, Estyn, and other relevant bodies.
- Oversee regular standardisation meetings for Assessors to share best practices and maintain high standards.
- Ensure literacy, numeracy, and cross-cutting themes such as Safeguarding, Prevent, Welsh Language, Equality & Diversity, and Health & Safety are integrated throughout the learning program.
- Prepare comprehensive and clear IQA reports to support the ongoing development of the team.
- Manage EQA visits, ensuring all portfolios meet required standards for a positive outcome.
- Conduct IQA observations of Assessors to ensure the effective implementation of the IQA strategy
What Are We Looking For?
Essential:
- Assessor and IQA qualifications.
- Relevant occupational competence in the sector.
- Proven experience in delivering training and support to learners.
- Full driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered) and EWC registration.
Desirable:
- Experience leading a team of IQAs and managing their development.
- Experience coordinating EQA visits.
- Involvement in Estyn Inspections.
