Support Worker - Complex Learning Disabilities Location: Burnham-on-Sea Pay Rates: £13.75 per hour (Day Shifts) £14.25 per hour (Waking Nights) Make a Genuine Difference We are looking for compassionate, resilient and dedicated Support Workers to join a specialist service supporting adults with complex learning disabilities. The Role You'll be responsible for providing practical and emotional support tailored to each individual's needs, including: Supporting with personal care and daily living activities Promoting independence, choice and wellbeing Encouraging participation in activities and the local community Supporting individuals who may display behaviours that challenge Following care plans and risk assessments Maintaining accurate records and contributing to positive outcomes There will be occasional lone-working shifts, so you'll need to be confident working independently, using your initiative and making sound decisions while maintaining high standards of care. Experience supporting individuals with diabetes would be highly desirable, although full training and ongoing support will be provided.
