Brook Street Social Care is proud to be working in partnership with a well-established non-for-profit organisation in the children's residential sector to recruit a Dual Registered Manager for two solo placement homes in the Aintree area of Liverpool.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate leader to join a values-driven organisation that is dedicated to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people with mild EBD.

The Role

As Dual Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the leadership, management and development of two solo occupancy children's homes. You will ensure the homes operate in full compliance with Ofsted regulations while delivering high-quality, therapeutic care that enables young people to thrive.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strong, visible leadership to both staff teams
  • Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Regulations 2015
  • Driving high standards of care and safeguarding practices
  • Managing budgets and resources effectively
  • Supporting, supervising and developing staff to achieve excellence
  • Building positive partnerships with external agencies, families and stakeholders
  • Leading on care planning to ensure tailored, child-centred support

About You

We are seeking a driven, motivated and resilient leader who is passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.

Essential requirements:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager (or strong Deputy ready to step up) within children's residential care
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding frameworks
  • Experience managing challenging behaviours and complex needs
  • Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
