Job Title: Domestic Abuse Helpdesk Practitioner Location: Coventry Hours: 20 per week | £13.10/hour | 28 days AL (pro rata) + benefits Join a front-line team supporting women and children affected by domestic abuse. This part-time role includes weekend and weekday hours, with hybrid working available once established. You\’ll be the first point of contact – responding quickly and compassionately to those in crisis, providing triage, safeguarding, and signposting to vital services. Hours of work: Saturday & Sunday: 10am-1pm Monday: 8:30am-5:30pm (office-based) Wednesday: flexible hours Essential Skills and Experience: Experience supporting people in crisis over the phone. Experience supporting individuals affected by domestic abuse. Knowledge of safeguarding, signposting, and managing challenging situations Strong IT and admin skills Excellent communication and people skills Ability to work calmly under pressure.
