Children's Residential Support Worker Location: Consett, County Durham Agency: Brook Street Social Care Brook Street Social Care is looking for experienced Children's Residential Support Workers to support a residential service in Consett. You'll be supporting children and young people with learning disabilities (LD) and behaviours that may challenge, helping them feel safe, supported and encouraged to develop their independence. The Role Supporting children and young people in a residential setting Providing person-centred support with daily routines and activities Managing behaviours that may challenge in a calm and positive way Promoting independence, choice and positive outcomes Following support plans and safeguarding procedures Working as part of an experienced care team Requirements Minimum 6 months' experience in a children's residential care setting Experience supporting children with LD and behaviours that may challenge Good understanding of safeguarding Confident, reliable and caring approach Ability to work days, nights and/or weekends as required Why Brook Street Social Care?
