Job Title: Residential Support Worker β Secure Children\βs Home
Location: Nottingham
Salary: Β£29,095 β Β£32,654 + allowances
Shifts: 7:45am β 2:30pm / 2:00pm β 10:45pm, including sleep-in shifts on a rolling 3-week rota

The Role
You will be working within a secure children\βs home providing high-quality, specialist accommodation for young people aged 10-18. Many of the young people you will support have complex needs and require intensive support to help them make positive life changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a keyworker for young people, being a positive role model
- Provide a safe, stable, and structured environment
- Support and engage young people in educational, recreational, and social activities
- Administer medication where required
- Complete risk assessments, reports, and care planning documentation
- Demonstrate knowledge of the Children\\\βs Homes Regulations 2015
Who We Are Looking For
A background in care is not essential but desirable. To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People\\\βs Workforce (or willingness to work towards it)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work well in a team and remain calm under pressure
- A compassionate approach with the ability to build positive relationships
- A flexible and enthusiastic \βcan-do\β attitude
