This residential support worker role sits within a secure children`s home, providing high-quality, specialist accommodation for young people between the ages of 10 and 18. The service houses vulnerable young people, many of whom have complex problems and need intensive support to help them turn their lives around. Please Note: During your working schedule, you must be available to work across the following shifts: Rotating shifts are Monday-Sunday What will be your primary responsibilities? Act as a `keyworker` for young people and be a role model with a socially desired behaviour Engage, stimulate, and appropriately challenge To safeguard and provide consistency and stability To provide advocacy and act with sensitivity Administer medication where needed Maintain adequate records and undertake site risk assessments Write reports and care planning documentation with the use of IT skills Provide stimulating educational and physical activities Possess knowledge of the standards within Children`s Homes Regulations 2015 A detailed job description will be provided during the recruitment process.
