Job Title: Secure Care Worker – No Experience Required! Location: St Helens, Merseyside Hours: 38 hours per week Salary: £24,909 – £27,317 per year (pro rata) Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We’re looking for individuals with a passion for working with young people to join our team as Secure Care Workers in our Secure Children’s Home. No formal experience is required, just a drive to support and inspire young people who may be facing difficult challenges. We’ll provide all the training and support you need to succeed. The Role: As a Secure Care Worker, you will be a vital part of a dedicated team, helping young people aged 10 to 17 find stability and hope during difficult times. You’ll be providing hands-on care and support, engaging with them in day-to-day activities, education, and health-related matters. You’ll also have the chance to focus on either ‘intervention work’ or ‘activity work’, depending on your interests and strengths. Your role will involve: Offering care and emotional support to young people in a secure environment Helping them build self-confidence and develop life skills Supporting their education, health, and independence Being a positive role model, making a lasting impact on their livesNo two days are the same in this role, and you’ll need to be ready for a challenge.
