5 Bed Residential Home – Emotional behavioural disorder, mental health and learning disabilities
Location: Darlington, DL3
Full‐Time: 40 hours per week
Salary: £29,392 – £32,792
Shifts: 12‐hour shifts – Days & Waking Nights – 8am‐8pm and 8pm‐8am
Requirements:
- You must be at least 23 years of age.
- Driving Licence – Essential, manual, OR automatic.
This 5 bed home provides extensive care and nurturing for children and young people aged 8‐18 years old with a wide range of difficulties: Emotional behavioural disorder, mental health and learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Registered Manager/Deputy with day‐to‐day operations and staff deployment.
- Meet the needs of young people in line with individual care plans, ensuring their safety and welfare at all times.
- Work collaboratively with families, social workers and external agencies.
- Ensure all practice meets legislative and safeguarding standards.
- Lead on staff inductions, supervisions and appraisals.
- Support in implementing, reviewing and updating care plans.
- Ensure administrative tasks are completed effectively and systems are maintained.
