The Role
As the Area Registered Manager, you will be the CQC-registered lead for one or more services around Essex & Hertfordshire. You will play a central role in shaping service delivery, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of quality, safety, and empowerment.
Key Responsibilities
- Register with CQC for one or more supported living services
- Embed a values-led, person-centred culture across all sites
- Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care
- Lead, empower and develop Service Managers and Cluster Managers
- Oversee audits, quality assurance, and safeguarding procedures
- Manage staffing, rotas, and service budgets in line with commissioned hours
- Build strong relationships with families, stakeholders, and external professionals
- Identify opportunities for service growth and development
- Maintain high standards of record-keeping, governance, and health & safety
About You
We are seeking a confident and proactive leader with a passion for empowering others and improving outcomes for vulnerable adults.
You will bring:
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
- Experience in supported living or complex care services
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and PBS principles
- Proven leadership ability across people, risk, and quality management
- Excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills
- A resilient, flexible and values-driven approach
