Brook Street Recruitment is working with our Belfast-based client to recruit a commercially driven Account Development Manager to join their growing Northern Ireland team. This is an exciting opportunity for a relationship-focused sales professional who enjoys developing existing accounts, identifying growth opportunities and building long-term partnerships with clients. The role focuses on expanding Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) contracts, identifying additional works and supporting compliance-driven upgrades across an established client base. Rather than purely transactional sales, this role is about consultative selling, account growth and long-term client partnerships.
What You'll Be Doing
- Account Development
- Build strong, trusted relationships with an established client portfolio
- Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts
- Conduct proactive account reviews and client site visits
- Introduce additional compliance-driven services where appropriate
- Growing PPM Contracts
- Develop new maintenance relationships across target sectors
- Support the transition of installation projects into long-term maintenance agreements
- Additional Works & Projects
- Identify and scope additional works opportunities within client sites
- Prepare proposals and present solutions to clients
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure solutions are practical and deliverable
- Client Engagement
- Lead consultative conversations around service improvements
- Ensure clients are aware of the full range of services available
- Maintain strong relationships to support long-term retention and growth
- Pipeline Development
- Manage opportunities and sales activity through CRM
- Maintain regular follow-ups and momentum on proposals
- Work closely with marketing and internal teams to generate new opportunities

You’ll work with organisations across sectors including: Facilities Management, Property Management, Manufacturing.

About You
We’re looking for someone who is commercially aware, relationship-driven and confident in developing service-based sales opportunities. Ideally, you will have:
- At least 3 years experience within the Fire & Security industry (preferred)
- Experience selling service contracts or maintenance solutions
- A consultative sales approach within technical or compliance-led environments
- Experience identifying and pricing additional works or upgrade projects
- The ability to manage both existing accounts and new opportunities
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
- Confidence engaging with Facilities Management and Property Management stakeholders
- A professional presence on LinkedIn and industry networking platforms
Candidates with strong service sales experience in related technical sectors will also be considered.
Salary & Benefits
