- Job Responsibilities
- Partner with key stakeholders to provide financial insight, challenge assumptions, and support effective decision-making.
- Own and drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Analyse variances against budget and forecast, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Support the development of business cases and evaluate financial implications of strategic initiatives.
- Produce clear, decision-ready reporting for senior leaders, translating financial data into practical insights.
- Monitor performance metrics and trends, highlighting risks and opportunities to improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with operational teams to improve financial processes, controls, and reporting effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial policies, procedures, and internal governance requirements.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent demonstrable experience in a finance business partnering role.
- Strong commercial finance acumen with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex modelling, data analysis, and the ability to build robust reporting packs.
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting cycles, including variance analysis and performance management.
- Strong analytical capability with excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and present financial information in an accessible, business-focused way.
- Experience using ERP and finance systems (for example, SAP, Oracle, or similar) to support reporting and planning.
- Knowledge of financial controls and governance, ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to policy.
