We are looking for a nurse with an interest in developing their contraception and sexual health skills. The role is based in Truro and the surrounding county of Cornwall. Applicants should be self‑motivated and able to work in a dynamic team, developing specialist skills to provide sexual health and contraceptive care.
Responsibilities
- Work effectively as part of a clinical team to deliver high-quality sexual health and contraceptive services to young people, in line with excellent clinical practice.
- Undertake practical training and theoretical study from a Brook‑approved course provider to become a CASH Health Nurse upon completion.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Vaginal examination skills.
- Cervical screening skills.
- UK driving licence and access to a car.
- Current Nurse and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration as a Registered Nurse (Sub‑part 1 of the NMC register).
- Successful completion of an enhanced DBS check.
- Right to work in the UK.
