Role Overview
To deliver a range of dynamic and engaging education and wellbeing interventions to young people, adults and professionals on a wide range of topics including sexual health, reproductive health, relationships and wellbeing. You will frequently travel to education and community venues to deliver face-to-face and digital whole-class sessions, small-group sessions and 1:1 programmes to young people, service users, parents/carers and the wider young-people workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver face-to-face and digital whole-class sessions, conduct small-group sessions and 1:1 programmes, and travel to various education and community venues to engage with young people, service users, parents/carers and the workforce.
Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be able to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
- Demonstrate right to work in the UK and provide relevant paperwork.
- Hold a UK driving licence and have access to a car.
- Have a minimum of 5 GCSEs.
- Have experience delivering training sessions.
- Have demonstrable experience delivering education, training, health promotion and/or outreach.
- Have demonstrable experience working with young people or adults, including vulnerable people or those at risk.
- Have demonstrable experience working with and understanding the issues affecting under-represented groups including vulnerable young people/adults, Black African and other BAME populations, MSM and LGBTQ people and people with learning difficulties and disabilities.
- Have a good understanding of sexual and reproductive health, relationships and emotional well-being.
- Have a good understanding of the law, guidance and safeguarding issues relating to reproductive and sexual health.
- Understand principles of equality and diversity and be able to interact with others inclusively.
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills.
