Brook Green Supply (BGS) is an independent B2B energy supplier committed to providing energy supply and Net‑Zero solutions to industrial and commercial consumers. As part of the FP&A team, the Junior Finance Analyst will be involved in delivering clear, reliable financial analysis and reporting to help guide business decisions. The role focuses on gross margins across commercial customers, giving insight into trends in a fast‑moving and regulated market.
Essential functions of the job:
- Assist with production and maintenance of financial performance forecasts
- Develop strong understanding of business performance and commercial objectives, to allow preparation and delivery of insightful financial analysis
- Employ strong reconciliation skills to pro‑actively identify and investigate variances
- Build relationships across departments to embed financial awareness and alignment with financial priorities
- Support month‑end and year‑end processes where required
- Assist with ad hoc external reporting requirements
- Effectively manage your workload in a deadline driven environment
Skills required:
- Results orientated and ambitious
- Strong attention to detail
- Numerate with excellent analytical skills, used to working with large data sets
- Proactive and enthusiastic, with a strong sense of ownership
Experience required:
- Computer literate with great knowledge of MS Office (Excel)
