- Leverage data-driven insights and digital prospecting tools to target key prospects and uncover new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute a robust growth strategy focused on financial performance, customer value, and long-term sustainability outcomes.
- Lead the full sales cycle, from tender management and pricing strategy to deal structuring and negotiation—ensuring commercial success and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Trading Desk, Product, and Operations) to design flexible, innovative contract structures and integrated decarbonisation offers.
- Stay up to date with market trends, policy developments, and technological innovations across the energy space.
- Present complex energy solutions clearly and persuasively, positioning BGS as a trusted, forward-thinking energy partner.
- Use CRM systems and analytical tools to track performance, optimise conversion, and provide data-backed recommendations to management.
- Consistently meet or exceed growth targets through strategic pipeline management and proactive market engagement.

- Strong understanding of the UK energy markets and the full spectrum of decarbonisation solutions—including renewable PPAs, energy efficiency, carbon management, and flexibility products.
- Skilled in data analysis, digital prospecting, and pipeline optimisation, using tools and metrics to guide strategic decisions.
- Strong commercial acumen with exceptional negotiation and deal-structuring skills, consistently driving high-margin, value-added sales.
- Confident communicator with excellent presentation, written, and interpersonal skills, able to engage stakeholders from the technical to the board level.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation, problem-solving, and sustainable business growth.
- Collaborative, yet capable of taking ownership and leading initiatives that drive tangible business outcomes.
