Role Overview
As General Manager, you will take charge of the day-to-day operations of the coffee shop while driving its growth and success. You’ll lead by example, fostering a kind, inclusive, and customer-focused environment. You’ll oversee the planning and execution of events, ensuring they align with our brand ethos and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations & Team Leadership
- Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and compliance.
- Recruit, train, and manage staff, ensuring they are inspired and supported to deliver excellent customer service.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming space for customers and staff.
- Coffee Expertise (training offered)
- Maintain the highest standards for coffee quality and presentation.
- Act as a coffee ambassador, sharing your passion and knowledge with customers and the team.
- Work closely with the head roaster to curate seasonal offerings.
- Event Management
- Plan and execute events, from community workshops and tastings to private hires.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and grow participation.
- Manage logistics to ensure events run smoothly and create memorable customer experiences.
- Sales & Growth
- Monitor KPIs and drive sales to meet targets, with salary increases tied to success.
- Innovate and implement new ideas to grow the business and expand our customer base.
- Actively engage with customers, building relationships and creating a loyal community.
