We are looking for a new property administrator who will be working with the repairs administration team to provide an excellent service to tenants, residents and our DLO services teams such as making sure that we deliver on our commitment to them. You’ll be dealing with enquiries and making sure that they’re passed on to the right person, as well as making sure that records are kept up to date and that our systems are maintained.
As an administrative officer in our property services team you will be dealing with tenants and leaseholders, repairs team’s, trades staff, contractors, partner organizations, membership and the general public on a daily basis, engaging with them and ensuring that their queries are dealt with. You will also be using our specialist repairs and document management ICT systems, possessing accurate timely data entry skills are a must.
You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, and knowledge of the building maintenance sector is advantageous.
You will have a positive attitude and approach to problem solving, and a keen eye for detail.
Your experience of using ICT packages, coupled with your enthusiasm and positive outlook will ensure that you provide a first‑class administration service.
Person Specification
Qualifications, knowledge and understanding
- Knowledge of office administration and financial systems.
- Knowledge of building services and housing sector.
- Business Administration Qualification (desirable).
- Relevant word processing and/or document production qualification (desirable).
Experience
- Experience of undertaking general administration duties and working to a high standard.
- Experience of data entry, invoicing and processing certificate payments.
- Experiencing of prioritising own workload to maximise time and resources available.
- Experience of using information technology including Microsoft Office applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience of Property & Development Services.

- Proven ability to build positive relationships with key members of staff.
- Good communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Good ICT skills.
- Ability to think laterally and analyse/solve problems knowing when to seek support and work accurately to tight deadlines.

Work4 pilot
We are currently running pilot of working a 4-day week (4DW). This is extended until end of October 2026. The pilot will then be reviewed by our board, before making a decision to extend or be made permanent.
