Bron Afon is on an ambitious transformation journey. We’re modernising our IT services, embracing technology that enhances the staff experience, and creating new, convenient ways for our customers to self‑serve. We’re strengthening our capacity for change, improving transparency, and raising the bar on what great service looks like. Now we’re looking for a Project Manager who wants to play a central role in making this happen. Be a part of our 4 Day working week trial in this hybrid role.
Why this role matters
As part of our Portfolio & Performance team, you’ll be at the heart of organisational change—helping us turn ideas into meaningful improvements. You’ll work with teams across Bron Afon to define what we need, shape solutions, and ensure investments deliver real value for money. This is your chance to bring fresh thinking, help build confidence and capability across the organisation, and influence how we deliver projects, programmes, and our wider portfolio.
What you’ll lead
In this role, you will:
- Support the Head of Portfolio & Performance to deliver a high‑quality project management service that supports change across Bron Afon.
- Champion modern, practical delivery approaches—iterative working, data‑driven decisions, and strong governance—to ensure projects land successfully and sustainably.
- Drive cultural and organisational change, helping teams build shared accountability, adopt better ways of working, and feel confident navigating change.
- Shape ICT and corporate projects that enhance both internal operations and the experience of colleagues and customers.
What you bring
You’ll succeed here if you can show experience of:
- Leading a variety of ICT and corporate projects.
- Delivering ICT project management or business analysis consultancy to non‑ICT teams.
- Gathering, interpreting, and evaluating information to help shape new solutions.
- An attitude for customer focussed design and delivery.
But more than a list of skills, we’re looking for someone who is curious, collaborative, and energised by helping people do their best work.
