Do you enjoy the challenge of being an expert advisor supporting, coaching and guiding others in health, safety and wellbeing in a housing and construction environment? Do you enjoy sharing your expertise and see yourself as someone who can develop others to better understand and meet health, safety and wellbeing requirements? Then this may be the opportunity for you.

We are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor who is keen to engage and involve people in helping us continue to build an excellent health, safety and wellbeing culture within Bron Afon. This is a great opportunity for someone with health and safety, housing and construction experience who is looking to support us to the next level in terms of developing health and safety.

Key to our success is our ability to ensure that across the organisation we continue to build a proactive health, safety and wellbeing engagement culture. We want everyone who works for or with us to be equipped to actively identify and effectively manage risks, supporting a culture of engagement in safety, health and wellbeing and helping them to do things safely.

Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager in the Asset, Investment and Compliance Team, we are looking for an advisor to support our teams in the day-to-day delivery of their health and safety service and to contribute to the general management of the work of the team as appropriate. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a key role in influencing and shaping the direction of health, safety and wellbeing.

Not only will you have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of managers and staff across diverse service areas, but you will also have the opportunity to support us to make the communities of Torfaen safer.
