The role:

We are looking for three Multi Skilled Tradespersons to work within the repairs team and deliver an excellent repairs service to both internal and external customers. If you are a skilled tradesperson with a passion for improving homes and helping customers live safely and comfortably, this could be the perfect role for you.

About you:

  • You will take a flexible approach to meet customer needs, ensuring clear and effective communication at all times to provide an excellent service experience.
  • You will take full responsibility for diagnosing and completing repairs to the highest standard, aiming to resolve issues on the first visit wherever possible.
  • Working closely with schedulers, you will ensure all actions are communicated and completed efficiently, while focusing on delivering sustainable repairs that prevent repeat issues.
  • You will also carry out void works to the required standards, ensuring properties are ready for occupation.

You will have proven experience and skills of working as a multi-skilled tradesperson, across multiple trade areas along with demonstrable experience in a base trade of Plumbing or Carpentry. You will need to have a working knowledge of health and safety and the ability to use / learn mobile software. Experience of completing damp and mould treatments and associated works is desirable. An NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or Carpentry or equivalent qualification would be desirable. Applicants must hold a current valid driving licence.

You will be provided with a works van, uniform and £200 tool allowance to maintain and build your own stock of tools. This post requires that the job holder is subject to a DBS check at a Basic level.
