The role involves providing a responsive and preventative service to assist the Tradespersons to repair and maintain the Council's housing stock and buildings across Redditch Borough. Responsibilities include:
- Material delivery to site
- Waste collections
- Assisting trades to deliver repairs and maintenance to council stock
- Undertaking loft insulation installation/replacement
- Working on various general maintenance tasks as required
Requirements:
- Hold a full clean UK driving license
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain high levels of professionalism at all times
- Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills while being adaptable to work requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks and operate basic tools and equipment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Previous experience in construction or property maintenance related fields
