Situated in North Worcestershire, Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council share services. Part of this role will be to assist in planning of work, monitoring health and safety compliance, managing issues within the team, site checks for safety, inspection of reported issues and interacting with the public and the day-to-day operational needs of the team. Aspects of the role will include supporting the team coordinators in delivering the services, monitoring health and safety compliance and quality standards of the team as they work across the district to deliver our wide range of services.

Responsibilities- Assist in planning of work

- UK driving licence with Category C entitlement
- At least 3 years experience in cleansing, groundwork, horticulture, forestry or similar field(s)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good time-keeping
- Ability to interpret written and drawn instructions in paper and digital form
- Experience managing staff and ensuring compliance at work (beneficial)
- Salary: £32,061 to £35,412 (Grade 6, SCP 19 to 24) 37hrs (any 4 & 5 day working patterns apply from any 7 days). Special working arrangements for Bank Holidays and Christmas working may apply.
