Job Summary: We are seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join our finance team at Brompton Technology, a multinational organisation with operations in the USA, China, Taiwan, and beyond. This role is critical in delivering insightful financial reporting and supporting decision‑making across multiple regions. You’ll be responsible for preparing management accounts, forecasting, and analysing performance, while collaborating with colleagues across time zones and cultures. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts for regional and consolidated group reporting
- Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles for designated entities or cost centres
- Analyse financial performance, identify variances, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with international teams (USA, China, Taiwan) to align financial data, timelines, and standards
- Manage intercompany reconciliations and support multi‑currency reporting
- Assist with transfer pricing, compliance, and statutory audit processes across jurisdictions
- Support group‑level reporting and internal controls across global operations
- Contribute to continuous improvements in financial systems, processes and reporting standards
Essential Qualifications:
- Newly qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
- Demonstrable experience in management accounting or FP&A, ideally within a multinational business and specifically in China
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Proficient in Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems, ideally Oracle NetSuite
- Comfortable working across time zones and with multicultural teams
- Excellent communication skills - able to explain financial data to both finance and non‑finance colleagues
- Strong attention to detail, proactive approach and able to meet deadlines in a global context
Desirable Extras:
- Experience with multi‑entity and multi‑currency consolidation
- Exposure to financial operations in China and USA
- Familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS
- Working knowledge of Mandarin or experience working with Chinese‑speaking teams is a plus
