Flexible working 9 Day Fortnight if appliable This is a flexible working pattern which individuals can opt in for where an employee works their contractual hours across 9 days instead of 10 days. Key Responsibilities: Working with relevant parties, both internal (Production, Sales, Finance, etc) and external (Forwarders, Couriers, etc) to prepare and dispatch orders. Supporting Procurement in getting shipping quotes and making bookings. Provide support with completing paperwork and documentation required for shipping. To undertake all aspects of administration in relation to the booking and monitoring of transport. Assist with day-to-day operation. Ensure all orders are processed efficiently & accurately and delivered on time. Maintain clear communication with Planning and Production teams to ensure key customer orders are scheduled on time. To assist with stock takes when needed. Ensure that potential issues are escalated timely to Logistics Operations Supervisor. Additional duties: To attend training and meetings as and when required. Any other jobs around the factory that may be deemed necessary and considered an integral part of the role. Who you are: The ability to problem-solve and provide solutions. A can do attitude with a hands-on approach. Methodical. Proactive, adaptable and open to change. Punctual & reliable. Team player. Desired Experience: Experience with ERP is preferred. Keen attention to detail. Excel (minimum level 2) and Word (basic level) preferred. Excellent communication skills with all internal and external stakeholders. Some experience in shipping and logistics is desirable but non-essential. Be able to work unsupervised with good time management and achieve agreed targets.
