Requirements and details of the role:
We are seeking to appoint a skilled and motivated Dispute Resolution Solicitor / Litigator to join our Dispute Resolution team.
The successful candidate will work alongside existing members of the team and will act for a solid client base, including corporate and individual clients, and will be responsible for managing their own varied case load, which will include:-
- Professional negligence matters
- Neighbour and boundary disputes
- Debt recovery and insolvency matters
- Contentious probate, including challenges to the validity of a Will and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975
- Property litigation, including possession and dilapidation claims, both residential and commercial
- Employment matters, including Employment Tribunal claims, settlement agreements and noncontentious advisory work
- Employer’s Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) claims
The role will also involve:
- Developing strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
- Providing support and advice to colleagues within the firm on litigation matters
- Taking part in the growth and development of the firm’s dispute resolution and business legal offering
- Assisting with the firm’s Legal Surgery sessions in relation to litigation enquiries
Candidates with a purely process‑driven PI or RTA litigation background are not sought.
There are good prospects for career progression for the right candidate.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary is competitive and dependent upon experience.
