Bromley Healthcare is an employee‑owned social enterprise delivering community health services across Bromley, Bexley, Greenwich and Lewisham. Founded in 2011, the organisation has grown from a single‑borough provider into a key partner within the South East London health and care system, supporting hundreds of thousands of people each year. Our services span the whole of life, from health visiting and school nursing to specialist therapies, district nursing and Hospital at Home services, delivered in people’s homes and local neighbourhoods.

Employee ownership sits at the heart of the organisation, shaping a culture that blends commercial discipline with a strong commitment to patients, staff and place, and ensuring every surplus is reinvested into communities. Working closely with NHS partners, local authorities and the voluntary sector, we play an active role in place‑based and neighbourhood working across South East London.

We are now seeking to appoint two Non‑Executive Directors to our Board, one with Audit and Finance expertise and the other with a strong Digital Transformation background.

  • Audit and Finance Non‑Executive Director: A qualified accountant who will Chair the Audit and Risk Committee, playing a key leadership role in ensuring robust financial stewardship, effective risk management and high standards of governance and assurance.
  • Digital Transformation Non‑Executive Director: An individual with experience of leading or influencing technology‑enabled change, helping the organisation to use digital systems and data to improve quality, safety, efficiency and the experience of patients, staff and partners.

The Board is seeking values‑led individuals with the judgement, confidence and curiosity to operate effectively at senior level in a non‑executive capacity. For the Audit and Finance role, this includes senior experience in finance, audit, risk or assurance within complex or regulated environments. For the Digital Transformation role, this includes experience of major digital systems or platforms, alongside an understanding of user experience, patient safety and organisational capacity. Experience of working in healthcare or clinical settings, and a connection to the communities Bromley Healthcare serves, would be welcomed but is not essential.
