Overview
Bromley Healthcare is seeking an experienced and forward‑thinking IT Infrastructure and Client Computing Manager to lead the delivery, security & continual improvement of our core digital services.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technology leader with expertise in Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, cyber security and modern digital technologies, including the safe adoption of AI‑enabled solutions.
As a key member of the IT leadership team, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for infrastructure, networks, servers, cloud services, telephony and end‑user computing, supporting over 1,000 colleagues across multiple locations.
You will play a vital role in maintaining secure, resilient and high‑performing services that enable staff to deliver outstanding care.
You will lead and develop the Infrastructure and Client Computing team, drive service improvements, oversee technology projects and ensure compliance with NHS cyber security and information governance requirements, including Cyber Essentials Plus.
Working closely with stakeholders, suppliers and NHS partners, you will help shape the future of digital services at Bromley Healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Infrastructure and Client Computing team, driving service performance, resilience and continual improvement.
- Manage supplier relationships and third‑party support contracts, ensuring effective performance and value for money.
- Oversee delivery of technical cyber security controls supporting Cyber Essentials Plus, DSPT and NHS cyber security standards.
- Ensure infrastructure, cloud and end‑user computing services support audit readiness, cyber resilience, business continuity and incident response.
- Maintain infrastructure platforms within vendor support and lead the planning and delivery of upgrades and lifecycle management.
- Ensure compliance with patching, endpoint protection and cyber security standards.
- Act as senior escalation point for infrastructure and client computing service issues and provide leadership, coaching and development to technical staff, maximising team capability and performance.
- Provide specialist expertise across Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM, virtualisation and cloud services.
- Provide technical leadership and best practice guidance across infrastructure technologies including VMware, HPE SAN, Cisco Meraki and Fortinet.
- Support the safe, secure and proportionate adoption of AI‑enabled technologies, ensuring compliance with information governance, data protection, clinical safety, cyber security and organisational policies.
