They will play an active part in planning and coordinating the work of the INT, ensuring that the new team is implementing pathways effectively to provide care in accordance with the INT's priorities and objectives.

  • Champion whole-person care, continuity and consistent clinical decision-making across organisational boundaries in the interest of the patient.
  • Provide the senior point of advice and escalation for the most complex cases, pathway queries and patient complaints.
  • Work closely with their INT Neighbourhood Delivery Manager and INT team members, as well as collaborating on developmental projects with their counterparts in the other three INTs.

The Clinical Lead will be expected to work alongside their INT team members in person on the nominated and agreed working day. Applicants will need to advise of available working days in their application. As part of their induction, successful applicants will be required to participate in tailored training and development for their INT.
