Opportunities for developing leadership skills (e.g. line-management), There is a consistently high demand for our buy-in service, both from mainstream schools and within additionally resourced provisions and special schools.
Day-to-day, you will provide assessment and therapy services as requested by the schools to a mixed paediatric caseload with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), as well as report writing and opportunities for training parents/carers and those working with children with SLCN. As well as working in mainstream schools, there may also be opportunities for working within one of many special schools and provisions. This would involve working withchildren with a variety of severe, additional and complex needs, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Difficulties, Developmental Language Disorder and Speech Disorders. We always ask for your preferences of where you would like to work any time we are re-timetabling.

Compensation is contingent upon NHS experience and current banding/pay point.
