We are recruiting a Bank Band 5 Night Nurse to join our busy and dynamic team. Patient care is at the heart of everything we do, and our work is vital to the community as we strive to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions and support patients to receive care in their own homes whenever possible.
As a Night Nurse, you will work alongside a Healthcare Assistant overnight, visiting patients in the community to provide urgent nursing care, support those approaching the end of life, and help prevent avoidable hospital admissions. This is a rewarding role that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to patients and their families at some of the most important moments of their lives.
Role
As a Night Nurse, you will deal with a variety of patients in their own homes. The role will involve, but is not limited to:
- Responsible for contributing to the holistic assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of patient care.
- Implementing, monitoring, and maintaining our high standards of care.
- Re‑assessing and re‑evaluating programmes of care when needed.
- Being an active member of the team, sharing best practices whenever possible.
This is a challenging but ultimately rewarding position where you will be supported both within your teams and by regular reflection & professional training. Shifts will be available on an ad hoc basis, working across the borough of Bromley.
Please note that Night Nursing roles are designated essential car users; therefore, applicants should have a current driving licence and access to a vehicle to be considered for this position.
