Bromley Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dynamic Speech and Language Therapist to join our advancing Community Neuro Rehab Team! We are seeking a passionate and flexible Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist who works well within a team to provide high quality, patient‑centred care across the borough of Bromley. You will work within a highly skilled, specialist MDT involving Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Neuropsychiatrist, Social Care Manager and Rehabilitation Assistants. Due to the nature of the caseload, the successful candidate will have excellent opportunities to develop their clinical skills, leadership skills and deliver service change.

Key Responsibilities and Opportunities
  • Delivering high‑quality clinical care in the community in line with the national drive in preventative care.
  • Partaking in a full quality improvement project with support from the organisation’s QI lead and senior therapists.
  • FEES competencies and supporting in‑house, SLT‑led FEEs service.
  • Assist the reshaping of our service provision to local care home residents: looking at models of delivery, streamlining the service and helping leads to review data capture in this area.
  • Supervision of SLT students and assistants.

We are a supportive and friendly team who work across the community of Bromley providing a service to patients in their own homes, care homes and in outpatient clinics. We pride ourselves in providing our patients with high standards of care and regularly receive positive patient feedback. We are a sociable team with regular social events and opportunities for teamwork within and across the organisation.
