High Intensity CBT Trainee Bromley Healthcare CIC Overview NHS Talking Therapies High-Intensity Trainee (CBT) – Band 6, 12‑month fixed‑term or secondment, part‑time training: 3 days per week in Bromley Talking Therapies and 2 days per week PG Dip in CBT course at Royal Holloway University of London. Expectation to stay and complete the training until early 2027. Contract at Band 6 or equivalent, fixed‑term/secondment for one year while training.

Salary & Working Hours

£44,485 – £52,521 inclusive HCAS per annum pro rata, 37.5 hours per week.

Training Programme

The training includes practical work in the Bromley Talking Therapies service and a university course. Successful applicants will receive expert supervision from accredited, experienced supervisors and a diverse learning experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work three days per week in the Bromley Talking Therapies service.
  • Attend two days per week for the PG Dip in CBT course at Royal Holloway University.
  • Complete all training modules and meet progress targets until early 2027.
  • Participate in regular supervisory sessions.

Qualifications & Requirements

Qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychological Therapists, Mental Health Nurses, Psychotherapists, Counsellors, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, or Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners. Experience in a mental health setting with a recognised professional qualification. Applicants without a core mental health profession must meet the required KSA process criteria.
