Bromley Healthcare is offering sponsorship for qualified Midwives and Registered Nurses to complete the Specialist Community Public Health Nursing qualification to become Health Visitors. We are invested in the development of Health Visiting and this is underpinned by our Public Health Nursing strategy and training programme for all roles within the PHN teams. About us:
Bromley Healthcare sponsors SCPHN HVs and SNs in partnership with King's College London. The Specialist Community Public Health Visiting Postgraduate Diploma course is tailored to offer the professional qualification for qualified nurses who wish to gain entry to the Specialist Community Public Health Nursing part of the National Midwifery Council (NMC) register as a Health Visitor. This course is offered as a Level 7 programme. The course commences in Sept 2026 and is being offered on a full-time basis.

Person Specification:
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office.
- Experience of using EMIS.
- Academic ability to study independently at postgraduate level 7.
- Knowledge of local and national policies that influence public health.
- Awareness of the role of contemporary health visiting & working with children and young people in community settings.
- Ability to support children and families to make informed decisions in relation to their health and well-being.
- Current knowledge of safeguarding issues.
- Demonstrate knowledge of research-based practice.
- Evidence of supporting equality and valuing diversity in own practice.
- Car owner/driver as travel between sites and clients homes is required.
Experience:
- Experience of working within multi-disciplinary teams.
