Bromley Healthcare, a community interest company, delivers a diverse range of services encompassing community nursing and therapy services catering to individuals across all age groups. We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Therapy Assistant who enjoys working independently and as part of a team.
In this role you will have the opportunity to complete assessments, interventions and reviews for adults in Bromley, Bexley and Greenwich who have multiple symptoms including fatigue, breathlessness and brain fog. We are looking for someone who has some experience working as a support worker and would like a role working with people who may have both physical and mental health symptoms that are affecting their ability to function, work and enjoy life.
Main duties of the job:
- To be a member of the service providing assessments, treatments and reviews within a high quality service.
- Hold a small caseload and be responsible for progressing simple rehabilitation programmes.
- Provide basic equipment provision, walking aid provision, referring on to external support services and reviewing and discharging patients with overall supervision from a registered member of staff.
- Support all aspects of service delivery through virtual and face to face means, in both group and 1:1 settings.
Person specification:
- Literate and numerate in English.
- NVQ3 or equivalent in health or social care subject.
- Evidence of continued professional development.
- Ability to work on own initiative and without supervision.
- Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team.
