As a Community Nursing Associate, you’ll become a valued member of our dynamic Community Team, playing a vital role in delivering high-quality, compassionate nursing care to individuals in their own homes and clinic settings. You’ll help support patients’ physical, psychological, social, and public health needs — ensuring their unique story, background and circumstances remain at the heart of every decision.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Taking delegated responsibility for a pre-agreed caseload, working under the supervision of an experienced Registered Nurse.
- Building confidence, developing specialist skills, and taking ownership of meaningful care.
Qualifications required:
- Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register.
- GCSE Grade A-C in Maths & English or skills level 2 Maths & English or equivalent.
Knowledge and experience:
- Understanding the importance of following procedures and treatment plans.
- Community experience and experience of working in teams.
Skills needed:
- Ability to develop effective and appropriate relationships with people, their families, carers and colleagues.
- Ability to undertake and understand physiological measurements and observations e.g. pulse oximetry and general observations.
- Striving to improve the service provided, suggesting changes to practice in line with best practice guidance.
