Community Staff Nurse in Hayes/West Wickham/Biggin Hill, Band 5. Full time 37.5 hrs per week, permanent contract. Salary £36,943 – £44,900 inc HCAS per annum pro‐rata, based on NHS experience. Location: Phoenix Centre, Town Bromley. Recruitment reference: 848‐BHC‐180‐26.
Main Duties
- Conduct holistic assessment, plan, deliver and evaluate patient care.
- Implement, monitor and maintain high care standards.
- Reassess and readjust care plans as required.
- Act as active team member, share best practice.
- Safeguard children, young people and adults at risk.
- Assist with daily team coordination: handover, work allocation, referral and telephone management.
- Develop relationships with allied health professionals and specialist services; contribute to policy and procedure development.
Working Conditions
Shifts: 8:15 – 4:15, 10:45 – 6:45, plus one weekend in four and occasional evening or weekend work.
Qualifications & Training
- Registered Nurse (Adult Branch).
- Current NMC registration (or awaiting confirmation).
- Preparation for mentorship / ENB 998 or willingness to undertake.
- Degree (or equivalent).
Experience
- Proven record of accurate record‐keeping.
- Evidence of high standard clinical care delivery.
- Valid driving licence and vehicle access, with ability to use satnav.
- Teaching and assessment skills.
- Experience caring for older people.
- Experience in drug administration or willingness to attend training.
- Knowledge of clinical audit/standard setting.
- Community placement or experience.
