You will need a flexible approach to service provision with the ability to work as part of a team as well as individually. The successful candidate will be required to have excellent diagnostic and clinical skills to deliver a range of podiatry treatments including wound care, at risk and biomechanical interventions for patients in Bromley. There will also be opportunities for MSK and nail surgery clinics.

Although based in a clinical setting, the role is across the Bromley Healthcare area with a clinical and visiting caseload. Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes.

The prospective candidate must be up to date with current best practice and demonstrate Bromley Healthcare values in their day to day role working as part of a team. We value healthcare promotion through patient empowerment and education, therefore we require podiatrists who have excellent communication and assessment skills.

Bromley Healthcare is proud to provide great training opportunities for its staff. Interviews are expected to be held week commencing 30th March 2026.

Registration with the Health Professions Council is essential. We encourage team members to take part in various CPD activities including clinical supervision, in-house training during department meetings in addition to external training sessions and access to an enhanced training budget.

Salary is dependant on NHS experience and current banding/pay point. Excellent benefits package available including various pension schemes, discounted gym membership, cycle to work scheme, discounted electronics, access to EAP, high street discounts, Blue Light Card eligibility, opportunity to apply for low interest personal loans and an excellent lease car scheme.

Bromley Healthcare has recently redefined its values with a strong focus on the healthcare and well-being of both colleagues and patients. Our 'belonging' value focuses on building a community where inclusivity and diversity are celebrated and colleagues feel psychologically safe to bring their authentic selves to work.

In line with our ‘continuous learning’ value, we are proud to embrace learning, quality improvement, and innovation in aspiring to be the best we can be. As a service, we are very supportive of innovation and change and you will be afforded the flexibility to be creative.

You will be a communicative team player, with experience in wound care and management of the diabetic foot. You will have opportunity to develop Musculoskeletal podiatry knowledge and put this into practice frequently. You will also be involved in minor surgery clinics.

You will be able to manage a caseload, and although predominantly clinical care will be needed, you will be able to organise visits to those who are unable to attend community clinics. You will be confident in treatment, and be aware of criteria for service.

You will know your scope of practice, when to ask for help, and how to escalate concerns to MDFT. You will be able to liaise with nursing staff to arrange visits, and form treatment plans for internal and external departments to follow. You will support the service and colleagues in clinic, and when seeing patients at home.

Person specification:

  • Registration with HCPC
  • Post graduate experience of treating a high-risk caseload including a wound care caseload
  • A willingness to undertake post graduate training and education in specialist areas of podiatry e.g. diabetes
