We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team at a 4-star hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality breakfast offerings that meet the hotel’s standards of excellence, consistency, and guest satisfaction. This role requires strong culinary skills, efficiency during peak service times, and a commitment to presentation and food safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare, cook, and present breakfast dishes according to hotel recipes and quality standards
- Ensure breakfast stations are fully prepared, attractively presented, and replenished throughout service
- Maintain consistency, portion control, and high presentation standards
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and temperature at all times
- Adhere strictly to hotel hygiene, food safety, and HACCP standards
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations
- Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and ordering of breakfast supplies
- Minimise food waste and support cost-control initiatives
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless guest service
- Handle guest requests and special dietary requirements professionally
- Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or Chef de Partie (Breakfast) in a hotel or high-volume kitchen
- Strong knowledge of international breakfast cuisine and buffet service
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
- Culinary qualification or professional training preferred
- Physically fit and able to work standing for long periods
