A full-time vacancy has arisen for a motivated and customer‑focused Food & Beverage Assistant to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will help deliver exceptional food and beverage service across the restaurant, bar, function suites, and room service operations while ensuring high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
The successful candidate will support the day‑to‑day running of restaurant and function suite services, including:
- Preparing service areas
- Setting tables
- Serving food and drinks
- Assisting with functions and events
- Handling guest requests
- Maintaining hygiene and safety standards throughout the department
You will also be responsible for ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and all service areas are prepared for upcoming shifts and events. This position requires excellent communication and customer service skills, a professional appearance, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast‑paced hotel environment. A strong focus on delivering outstanding hospitality in both restaurant and event settings is essential.
Full training will be provided, and candidates should be willing to follow all company procedures, health and safety regulations, and food hygiene legislation. This role involves the setup and breakdown of restaurant areas and events, including moving and handling furniture, equipment, and other materials. Candidates must be able to undertake the physical requirements of the role, including lifting and carrying equipment, with appropriate training, equipment, and assistance where required. The role involves working late shifts and night shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
