Nursery Casual Bank Staff

Role Summary

We are looking for casual Bank Staff to support our nursery in Penge, London Borough of Bromley.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support during busy periods such as staff annual leave and absence.
• Work flexible hours between 8 am and 6 pm, including potential on‑day notice.
• Assist with care for children aged 0‑4 years and help deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage as part of a team.
• Follow safeguarding procedures, including providing requested references and an enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications and Experience

• BR5: £13.69 – £14.52 per hour; requires Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
• BR4: £13.60 – £13.69 per hour; requires Level 2 qualification in Childcare.
• Unqualified Nursery Practitioner: no specific qualification required but preferred knowledge and experience of early years.

Working Conditions

Work is on a bank basis; hours are not guaranteed. You may be called on the morning of the day needed.
