Our role of Rents and Service Charges Manager is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of our business. The Role This is a key position in which you will play a crucial role in the annual rent setting process, including the provision of estimated service charges and annual reconciliation calculations. You will also be responsible for managing the insurance function including renewal and claims. You will lead on the annual calculations of estimated service charges and the reconciliations for all customers including shared owners and leaseholders and resolving any related queries. In addition, you will ensure that housing stock numbers are reconciled on a monthly basis playing an important role in the submission of the annual SDR to the Regulator and you will support the production of monthly management accounts. About you We are looking for an individual with solid experience of working in a rent and variable service charges team. You will need to have up to date knowledge and understanding of rent, service charges and leasehold legal and regulatory framework, including the s20 consultation process. Experience of corporate insurance renewals and claims management is essential, and you’ll have excellent ICT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
