We have an opportunity for a customer-focused IT Assistant to join our IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring IT professional who enjoys helping people, solving technical issues and contributing to the delivery of reliable, secure and effective technology services.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for IT support, you will provide frontline technical assistance to colleagues, board members and digital tenant groups, ensuring they receive a responsive and professional service. You will play an important role in first line support, helping customers with the whole range of IT issues. Your communication skills are as important as your technical knowledge.
The role will involve supporting a wide range of hardware and software, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, meeting room technology and collaboration tools. You will also assist with our software systems, including Office 365, and our housing management system. It’s a role for an all-rounder, so you’ll need to be flexible.
About You
We are looking for someone with a positive, proactive attitude who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to delivering excellent customer service. Experience providing IT support within a customer-focused environment would be advantageous, as would a relevant IT qualification and familiarity with IT service management processes.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems and mobile device management technologies, along with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be comfortable explaining technical information to non-technical users, managing competing priorities and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
