This is a field-based role, so you’ll spend the majority of your time on site carrying out inspections, managing works, and supporting operational teams across your area. As travel is a key part of the role, a company vehicle will be provided to support you in carrying out your duties.

The Role

Working closely with trade operatives, contractors, and internal teams, you’ll ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Planning and scheduling works, including labour, materials, and sequencing
  • Undertaking property inspections, including mutual exchanges and post-work quality checks
  • Supporting and coordinating multi-trade teams and subcontractors on site
  • Ensuring all works meet re-let standards and comply with Health & Safety and CDM regulations
  • Managing costs, improving efficiency, and reducing post-void repairs
  • Liaising with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth and positive experience

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings both technical knowledge and practical experience, with the ability to plan effectively and lead from the front.

You’ll Have

  • Proven experience in a similar role within housing or property maintenance (essential)
  • A strong trade background, with knowledge across multiple trades (e.g. plumbing, carpentry, plastering)
  • Experience supervising operatives or contractors across a range of disciplines
  • Experience of surveying properties and using Schedule of Rates (SORs)
  • A good understanding of Health & Safety and CDM regulations
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
